Propane Can Popper are a quick release of a pound of propane, that can be place in a stripped Interior of a car for a car explosion. The popper uses a standard US 14.1 ounce Propane or Map Gas cylinder to produce a repeatable, predictable Special Effects Fireball that dissipates in a few second and leaves no obnoxious residue.
Special effects experts typically will want the car's stripped of the following; gas tank (empty tank with flumes worst that full tank) removed, the interior seats and trunk stripped, the interior roof and floors strip of its rug and lining, remove door lining, strip wires, along with plastic and insultion removed as most is toxic. Need to drain all its fluids (oil, brake, transmission, rear end, water) and taking out the battery.

Nothing left except for a few drifting wisps of smoke. The doors of the containers were slightly warmed, and Pinto race car on top of the containers was unharmed. We were the local pyrotechnic company working with Strategic Operations and held the permits and inspection for the special effects used for the demonstration that featured SOF forces from ten different nations "assaulting" mock enemy positions and rescuing "hostages" next to the convention center, both on land and in the bay. Bullet Hit Nonpyro Splatter Blood Hit systems
This is the rig to use if you need a very big bullet hit. Built using composite plastic irrigation solenoid valves and an aluminum air chamber, it is super reliable, durable, and simple to maintain. We've streamlined the design and fabrication to keep the rig as affordable as possible.
It can be worn comfortably, but because of the size it is more difficult to hide under wardrobe than our compact rigs.It is best used on an off-camera part of the body or stationed near the performer with tubing running up the pant leg. It can also be built into props or the set. The air chamber cam be pumped with a bike pump or air compressor.The trigger is hardwired and can put the power of firing right in the performer's hands, but is also long enough to be fired by another operator. Powered by two (2) 9V batteries, the rig can be fired hundreds of times before they need replaced. Explosive squibs can't offer the subtle adjustments that can be fine tuned through adjusting air pressure and blood volume. And a traditional squib could never deliver the amount of blood that can be fired from this monster! 60CC blood at 30 PSI.

This system works extra well if the garment is loosely woven, like T-shirts, mens shirts etc. It relies on the fact that a garment "breathes" and allows moisture to pass though it. The shirt may be pre-scored to open up when blood comes gushing - but normally the imitation blood shoots through the actual fibers of the fabric without damaging the clothes while simulating a "hit" (well, they turn red, so you'll have to wash them in order to re-use)
If you want to use a raincoat, thin leather or something else that is normally waterproof - you can still use the non-explosive squib. Just pre-score the material where you want the "hit" to appear. Air Squib will also allow you to create smokey hits, dust hits, blood hits or pulsating blood wounds
The Air Squib consists of three parts - the radio control transmitter, the portable, radio-controlled air ejector - hidden on the belt, or similar, and the special nozzle - placed on the inside of the shirt, where you want the bloody hit to appear.
